Umar Khalid Granted Interim Bail In Delhi Riots Case To Attend Wedding Of His Sister

Chandigarh, December 11: A Delhi court on Thursday granted interim bail to Umar Khalid in the Northeast Delhi riots larger conspiracy case to allow him to attend his sister’s wedding. The court approved his release from December 16 to 29, directing him to surrender on the evening of December 29.

During this period, Khalid has been instructed not to use social media or contact any witness and to interact only with family members, relatives, and friends.

ASJ Sameer Bajpai further ordered that Khalid must remain either at his home or at the designated venues where the wedding ceremonies are scheduled to take place.
