Emotional Kejriwal Breaks Down After Court Acquittal in Liquor Scam Case

New Delhi: February 27, 2026

AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal couldn’t control his emotions after Rouse Avenue Court acquitted him in the alleged Delhi liquor scam case. Emerging from court Friday, he broke down in tears while addressing reporters, overwhelmed after months behind bars.

Manish Sisodia consoled him during this emotional moment.

Tearful Statement

Choking with emotion, Kejriwal said he’s earned only “honesty” in life, which BJP tried to destroy. “Court dismissed all charges today, proving Kejriwal and Sisodia are honest. Years of mudslinging and 24/7 media attacks calling me corrupt—today truth prevailed,” he stated.

He thanked judiciary and God for justice.

Attacks Modi-Shah

Targeting PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah directly, Kejriwal alleged they’ve orchestrated independent India’s biggest political conspiracy. Claimed AAP’s 5 top leaders jailed to destroy party.

Advised PM: Focus on inflation, unemployment, pollution instead of fake cases for power.
