Amritsar Police Major Action: Cross-Border Arms Smuggling Module Busted

Amritsar Commissionerate Police achieved major success, dismantling large network smuggling illegal arms from across border. Police arrested 5 accused and 1 juvenile, recovering heavy cache of modern weapons smuggled from Pakistan.

Preliminary questioning revealed accused contacted Pakistani smugglers via social media. They ordered weapon consignments across border, supplied to various criminal groups/areas. Police say module aimed to disrupt Punjab’s peace.
