All India Seminar on AI-Driven Electronics & Communication Concludes at Chandigarh

Chandigarh, February 7:
The two-day All India Seminar on “Advances of Electronics & Communication in the Artificial Intelligence Era” concluded today at the Institution of Engineers (India), Punjab and Chandigarh State Centre, Sector 19, Chandigarh. The seminar was organized by the IEI Punjab and Chandigarh State Centre under the aegis of the Electronics and Telecommunication Division Board in association with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Punjabi University, Patiala.

The second day began with Technical Session-III, chaired by Er.Jotinder Singh Committee member Punjab and Chandigarh State Centre.Expert lectures were delivered by Dr. Harmanjot Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of ECE, Punjabi University, Patiala, and Dr. Jatinder Saini, Assistant Professor, Baba Banda Singh Bahadur College of Engineering and Technology, Fatehgarh Sahib. The sessions focused on recent developments and practical applications of artificial intelligence in electronics and communication systems.

The valedictory session commenced in the afternoon with a welcome address by Dr. Baljit Singh Khehra, Chairman, IEI Punjab & Chandigarh State Centre. Dr. Harmanjot Singh, Co-Convener of the seminar, presented the seminar report and highlighted the key outcomes, including the active participation of experts, researchers, and students from various institutions.

Guest of Honour Prof. (Dr.) Manjit Singh Bhamra, Dean Faculty of Engineering, Punjabi University, Patiala, appreciated the organizers for successfully conducting the seminar and emphasized the importance of AI-based research in modern engineering education.

In his valedictory address, Chief Guest Prof. (Dr.) T.S. Kamal, Former Vice-President of the Institution of Engineers (India), encouraged young engineers to adopt innovative approaches and interdisciplinary research to meet future technological challenges.

Mementoes were presented to the dignitaries, and the seminar concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Jatinder Saini Joint-Honorary Secretary, IEI Punjab & Chandigarh State Centre.

The two-day seminar witnessed enthusiastic participation from academicians, industry experts, and students, providing a valuable platform for sharing knowledge and exploring emerging trends in artificial intelligence, electronics, and communication technologies.
