After several days of suspension due to heightened tensions between India and Pakistan, Amritsar’s Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport reopened on Monday.
However, flight operations at the airport are yet to resume. A meeting regarding the commencement of civil flight operations is reportedly scheduled for 4 PM today.
The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has announced the reopening of 32 airports temporarily closed for civil aircraft operations due to airspace restrictions.
