Ludhiana, June 14
As part of his ongoing campaign for the Ludhiana (West) Assembly by-election, Rajya Sabha MP and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Sanjeev Arora visited the Trident Group campus on Friday to connect with its employees. The interaction formed a key part of his outreach efforts aimed at garnering support from the industrial workforce of the city.
During the meeting, Arora engaged in an interactive and meaningful discussion with the employees, focusing on issues directly affecting Ludhiana’s urban landscape, including infrastructure development, civic amenities, environmental concerns, and employment opportunities. He assured that people’s voices would be represented effectively in the state assembly.
In his address, Arora urged the gathering to participate actively in the democratic process by voting in the upcoming by-election. He said he is committed to accelerating Ludhiana’s development. “I stand for clean politics, transparency in governance, and speedy implementation of public welfare initiatives. With your support, Ludhiana (West) can become a model of progress,” he said.
Padma Shri Rajinder Gupta, Chairman Emeritus of Trident Group, was also present on the occasion. His presence underscored the significance of the meeting and reflected the growing interest of the industrial sector in the ongoing electoral process. Gupta appreciated Arora’s initiative of reaching out to the industrial workforce and welcomed the constructive dialogue. He also lauded the series of development works done by Arora across the city in the last three years.
The meeting added momentum to Arora’s campaign, which has gained notable traction in recent days through door-to-door interactions, public meetings, and targeted outreach in industrial clusters. With Ludhiana being one of Punjab’s major industrial hubs, such engagements are seen as critical for connecting with working-class voters and gaining their trust.
