University Dean Janardan Pawar confirmed the students are safe and housed in local hotels. The institute is in constant touch with the Ministry of External Affairs to ensure their early return.
Dubai Airport Drone Incident
Tensions rose further when reports emerged of an Iranian drone crashing at Dubai International Airport, injuring four people and damaging the terminal. Following Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s death, Iran has fired missiles and drones at Israel, UAE, Qatar, and other regional countries, severing all air links.
Surprising Scenes from Iran
Meanwhile, shocking images are emerging from within Iran. Reports and videos show people in several cities celebrating Khamenei’s death, dancing, and chanting ‘Death to Islamic Republic’.
