A terrifying accident struck Mumbai’s Mulund area Saturday afternoon during metro construction. A heavy slab (parapet part) from the station near Johnson & Johnson suddenly fell on a passing auto-rickshaw, crushing it completely and trapping a passenger.

Rescue and Aftermath

The incident occurred around 12:15 PM. Harrowing video shows locals and rescuers struggling to free the trapped victim from wreckage. Two injured rushed to nearby hospital; condition under monitoring.

MMRDA Response

MMRDA confirmed slab fell from pier PI196 near Metro Line. Project team on-site with BMC and disaster management aiding relief. Full medical aid assured to injured.
