Police investigation reveals that Lucky and prime suspect Joga Foldiwal once shared a deep friendship – celebrating birthdays together, cutting cakes, and constantly liking/sharing each other’s social media posts. Lucky also had excellent relations with Joga’s family, especially uncle Gurvinder Baba.

The Breaking Point: Khalsa College Power Struggle

Tensions emerged during Khalsa College politics and power demonstrations. Reports suggest Lucky sidelined Joga by appointing a youth named Lav as college head – someone Joga considered his subordinate. This decision split their paths permanently.

Joga switched allegiance to the Sonu Khattri gang, fled illegally to America, but orchestrated Lucky’s murder from there. On December 25, 2025, Lucky received a threatening social media post from Joga – exactly 44 days before his assassination outside Model Town Gurdwara.
