PM Unveils Roadmap for Developed India, Slams Congress Policies and Claims Economic Boom
While discussing the country’s current political and economic situation, the Prime Minister expressed confidence that the present time is highly decisive for India, and the second quarter will advance just as swiftly toward building a developed India. He stated that every citizen today feels we stand at a milestone where turning back is out of the question; instead, we must move even faster to achieve our goals.
Targeting the opposition, he said that earlier, vote-bank politics dominated the country, and Congress Prime Ministers lacked visionary thinking, never prioritizing development. He questioned why previous governments brought the nation to a point where other countries hesitated to build ties with India. He claimed that in recent years, India has brought transformation to every sector and class.
Highlighting India’s economic strength, he noted that India’s growth rate is the highest among major global economies today. High growth paired with low inflation symbolizes our economic power. He recalled that at independence, India ranked sixth in the world economy, which slipped to 11th during Congress rule, but now India is rapidly nearing the position of the world’s third-largest economy. In a witty closing, he humorously requested the Chair to allow Mallikarjun Kharge to sit while raising slogans, considering his age.
