Red Fort Blast: ‘White-Collar’ Terror Module’s Massive Plot Uncovered, Global Coffee Chain Targeted

Published by: Gill Bikram

New Delhi (January 31, 2026): The investigation into the i20 car blast near Delhi’s Red Fort has exposed a highly dangerous and large-scale terrorist conspiracy. Sources reveal that the active ‘white-collar terrorist module’ was not only targeting Delhi but had also planned attacks on outlets of a famous global coffee chain.

Module Active for Past 4 Years

Probe agencies have disclosed that this module has been secretly operating across India for the last four years. The November 10, 2025, blast outside Red Fort killed 15 people. Key suspects arrested in the case, including Dr. Muzamil Ganaie and Adil Rather, had plotted to terrorize several major Indian cities.

Sophisticated Communication Tactics

The module operated with extreme cunning to evade detection:

  • Ghost SIM Cards: Untraceable SIMs were used to communicate with Pakistani handlers.

  • Dual-Phone Approach: Suspects used one regular phone for daily chats and a second secret phone with encrypted apps for terror activities.

Security agencies, aided by Jammu & Kashmir Police, successfully foiled several major attacks planned in Delhi, UP, and Haryana in November and December.

Government’s Firm Response

Spotting misuse of internet calling and messaging apps in this plot, the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has introduced new rules. Devices running WhatsApp, Telegram, and Signal must now have an active physical SIM card to curb anonymous communications via ghost numbers.
