As part of Make in India Week 2025, the ASSOCHAM Rajasthan State Development Council organized a special consultation session on “10 Years of Make in India: Vision to Reality – Rajasthan’s Journey” at the AICTE Indovation Centre, Jaipur. The session witnessed participation from government officials, industry leaders, and startup representatives, who came together to reflect on Rajasthan’s role in India’s decade of industrial growth and the path ahead.
Eminent ASSOCHAM representative Shri Gaurav Sharma, CEO, ACIC-VGU set the context for the session with emphasis on achievement of the last decade, the bottlenecks and the way forward for the next decade. Shri Tarun Bhatnagar, Assistant Director, MSME DFO, highlighted that MSMEs have been the backbone of industrial growth during the Make in India decade. He also mentioned various MSME schemes for startups and MSME. Shri Dhawal Singhal, Manager, iStartRajasthan, emphasized that innovation and startups will be central to building an Atmanirbhar Rajasthan. He highlighted various achievements of iStart in the past decade. Shri Jerry Joshy, Startup Fellow & Zonal Incharge, MIC-AICTE, Jaipur, underlined the importance of technical education in preparing skilled manpower to meet Industry 4.0 needs. He briefed about various initiatives by AICTE across the country for entrepreneurship development.
The interactive session also engaged participants on Ease of Doing Business, Make in India reforms, and future opportunities. Industry representatives, startups, and officials shared perspectives on how collaborative efforts can accelerate India’s growth journey. The program concluded with an open discussion and vote of thanks by Shri Arpit Soni, Founder and CEO, Creware Technologies.
