Patiala Ki Rao and Ghaggar River water levels recede in Mohali District

The District Administration of SAS Nagar (Mohali) has reported that water levels in the Ghaggar river near Bhankarpur have receded to 2.5 feet. Similarly, water levels in Patiala Ki Rao have also gone down, easing flood concerns in the region.

Restoration work is currently underway on the Nadda–Khudda Lahora road, with authorities aiming to complete repairs within a couple of days. Officials clarified that there is no danger to people living nearby during the restoration process.

The district administration has issued an appeal to residents to avoid circulating or acting on rumours and to rely solely on official information regarding flood conditions. Additionally, people are urged to steer clear of seasonal rivulets to ensure their safety amid the heavy rain aftermath.
