Rajasthan, July 9
A Jaguar fighter aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) crashed near the Churu district of Rajasthan on Tuesday, according to defence sources. The incident occurred during a routine sortie.
Rescue teams were immediately rushed to the crash site and emergency protocols have been activated. The area has been cordoned off, and a search and rescue operation is currently underway.
As of now, there is no official word on the pilot’s condition or the cause of the crash. Defence authorities have stated that more details will be shared once preliminary investigations are complete.
