Three devotees including two women followers of Dera Beas were killed and 14 people were injured after a collision took place between the four-wheeler and Ertiga car near village Gadana on Jalandhar-Amritsar national highway early this morning.
Dhilwan SHO Dalwinderbir Singh confirmed the death of three persons, all travelling in a four-wheeler. All the occupants of the four-wheeler were on their way to Dera Beas.
The police have identified the deceased as Kalyan Singh(60), his wife Parveen Kumari (58) and Sanjana (19) all residents of Hoshiarpur.
The police said the incident occurred around 5 am when a speeding Ertiga car rammed into their four-wheeler, resulting in the death of the three occupants of the vehicle, and injuring 14 people. The injured have been admitted to a hospital at Beas. Police said the Ertiga car turned turtle and fell into the ditch.
