AAP candidate Sanjeev Arora releases `Vision Document for a better Ludhiana’

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate for Ludhiana (West) Sanjeev Arora (Rajya Sabha MP) has released `Vision Document for a better Ludhiana’.

Arora who is a businessman, philanthropist, first time candidate and committed to action, while describing his `VISION’ stated that `V’ stands for `Vital Infrastructure & Public Services’. Top priority as identified by 39% of the citizens is to fix potholes and finish reconstructing damaged roads within 100 days, solve water-logging issues, ensure 24×7 clean drinking water supply in all areas, improve Public Transport system for reducing traffic congestion, and installing new transformers and upgrading transmission system for better electricity supply.

Adding, he said `I’ stands for `Inclusive Safety Measures’. The second most voted concern for 35% of citizens is to install CCTV cameras where required, install streetlights at required locations and form citizen policing teams with volunteers from the community.

Arora said `S’ for `Superior Healthcare Services’. Backed by his record in healthcare philanthropy & top priority for 17% of citizens is to expand mohalla clinics services, free breast cancer screenings via Krishna Pran Cancer Trust and regular mobile health camps.

He added `I’ stands for `Innovative Education & Job Growth’. 20% citizens raised these concerns demanding to improve and add skill training facilities, collaborate with Ludhiana MSMEs for guaranteed placement partnerships; increasing smart classrooms, teacher upskilling, and career readiness in government schools; and establishing a help desk for small businesses.

Further, he said `O’ stands for `Optimized Environment’. Reflecting 26% citizens demand for greener streets & better waste management, restore Buddha Dariya, mechanized cleaning and weekly audit of sanitation staff, plant thousands of trees on main roads and parks, launch Ludhiana’s first stray dog sanctuary with vaccination and sterilization and clean industrial corridors with monitored air and water discharge.

Finally, `N’ stands for `Nurturing Community Engagement’. 67% of citizens are willing to join task forces to contribute to change and launch Resident Councils in every ward for monthly issue resolution.

As such, the vision document clearly defines Arora’s vision and citizen first leadership.

Arora said “This is people’s vision. Written by people. Delivered by us. This isn’t a politician’s wish list. It’s people’s voice, turned into action.”

Making an appeal to electorates of Ludhiana (West), Arora said vote for him, vote for development that won’t rest. His button on EVMs will be on No.1.
