Ludhiana, June 13
Rajya Sabha MP and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate for the Ludhiana (West) Assembly by-election, Sanjeev Arora, continued his grassroots outreach by conducting an intensive door-to-door campaign in areas falling under Ward No. 60 on Thursday evening. The campaign saw enthusiastic interaction with local residents, shopkeepers, and members of the business community.
During his visit, Arora personally conveyed his message for the upcoming bypoll and urged voters to support him for what he termed the “quadruple progress” of Ludhiana. He emphasized his commitment to rapid and inclusive development of the city, assuring people that their aspirations would remain central to all development projects under his leadership.
“We have already set the tone for growth, and now it is time to accelerate it further. With your support, we can make Ludhiana a model city known for infrastructure, cleanliness, safety, and prosperity,” Arora told residents.
He interacted closely with traders and small business owners, listening to their concerns and assuring them that the AAP government is committed to creating a more supportive environment for business growth. Arora said that promoting trade and further strengthening the city’s industrial base would remain among his top priorities if elected.
He also spoke about the positive transformation that Punjab has witnessed under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, particularly in sectors like education, healthcare, and governance. “This election is not just about one seat—it’s about keeping the momentum of good governance alive,” Arora added.
MLA Manwinder Singh Giaspura accompanied Arora during the campaign, along with local party workers and volunteers who joined in reaching out to voters.
Residents responded warmly to the campaign, with many expressing appreciation for the candidate’s direct interaction and accessibility.
Arora appealed to the electorate of Ward No. 60 to vote in large numbers and contribute to the city’s transformation journey.
