Ludhiana, June 4

Rajya Sabha MP and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate for the Ludhiana (West) Assembly by-election, Sanjeev Arora, held a well-attended poll meeting at BRS Nagar (J-Block) on Tuesday evening. The gathering saw enthusiastic participation, especially from individuals associated with the local car market, who raised slogans in support of both the AAP and Arora.

During the meeting, the attendees unanimously pledged their support for Arora, appreciating his performance as a proactive and development-oriented leader over the past three years. Since being elected to the Rajya Sabha, Arora has focused his efforts on infrastructure, healthcare, and urban development, which have earned him recognition and goodwill among the citizens.

In his address, Arora highlighted the pro-people policies of the AAP-led state government under Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. He also elaborated on his personal contributions to the city’s progress. He spoke in detail about his contribution in completion of the projects such as the Halwara Airport and the elevated road project.

Arora also informed the audience about the work he did for reviving long-pending National Highway projects in the region. Furthermore, he underscored his initiatives to upgrade the ESI and Civil Hospitals in Ludhiana, thereby improving public healthcare facilities. Several other developmental projects, he noted, are either completed or nearing completion.

Appealing for support in the upcoming by-election, Arora urged voters to not only cast their votes in his favour but also encourage others to do the same. He said, “Serving the people is not rocket science; it just requires a strong will and commitment”, adding, “In the past three years, I have worked with passion and dedication. If elected, I promise to work four times harder for Ludhiana’s growth.”

The meeting was attended by several notable supporters and local leaders, including Sanjay Chopra, Sukhwinder Singh Kaka, Sunny Thareeke, Akash Singla, Bobby Batra, Anil Sharda, Ranjit Singh, Mandeep Singh Bittu, Sonu Kancha and Rinka.
