Mann Govt’s 10 Ministers active in border areas, conducting inspections of emergency services and public facilities

Amidst the tense situation in Punjab’s border districts, 10 cabinet ministers of the Punjab government are continuously visiting border areas to provide relief to the people and ensure a fearless environment.

On Saturday, for the second consecutive day, the ministers visited various locations in districts adjoining Pakistan, such as Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Pathankot, Fazilka, and Ferozepur. They inspected emergency services and public facilities with local officials.

The ministers issued clear directives to the authorities to ensure that people face no shortage of essential supplies during this tense period, particularly medicines and FMCG items such as milk, yogurt, flour, rice, and other crucial necessities.

Public Convenience and Maintaining Order is CM Bhagwant Mann’s Top Priority

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is constantly in touch with the ministers and senior officials of the border districts. He is taking regular feedback about the situation of these areas. The Chief Minister has issued clear instructions that ensuring public convenience, safety, and maintaining order is the government’s main priority.

From a historical perspective, Punjab has always stood firm during times of crisis on the border. Once again, the Mann government is proving this to be true. The active role of the police administration and the presence of ministers in the border districts are enhancing Punjab’s historic reputation.

Punjab has always given a strong response to Pakistan’s malicious actions, whether during the partition in 1947 or the wars of 1965 and 1971. Punjab has always demonstrated courage, sacrifice, and unity. Even today, the citizens of Punjab’s border areas are standing with the Indian Army and boosting their morale.

CM Mann’s Strategy: Two Ministers in Each District, Centralized Command Center and Coordination

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab government is working on a dual strategy to tackle challenges during this tense situation. Special duty has been assigned to two ministers in each district. Additionally, a centralized command center and coordination system have been set up to ensure smooth monitoring and to relay real-time information to the government for immediate action.

Through the 24×7 “Crisis Command Center,” the government is directly receiving feedback from district officials, MLAs, and ministers. The ministers are continuously sending ground reports from their assigned districts, which are being monitored at the highest level. The government is making every effort to ensure that no citizen faces a shortage of essential supplies.

AAP Ministers in Border Districts Overseeing Hospital Services, Relief Camps, Ration Depots, and Emergency Services

All ministers have been assigned the responsibility of conducting continuous reviews of hospitals, relief camps, ration depots, and emergency response units in the border districts and resolving any issues immediately.

On Saturday, the Ministers-in-Charge of Border Districts Visited the Following Locations:

– Ministers Dr. Baljit Kaur and Tarunpreet Singh Sondh inspected special medical camps for women and children in Fazilka, urging doctors and other healthcare workers to remain available at all times.

– Ministers Gurmeet Singh Khuddian and Hardeep Singh Mundian reviewed relief camps and ration supply arrangements in Ferozepur, directing depot operators to ensure a smooth supply of food items.

– Ministers Laljit Singh Bhullar and Harbhajan Singh ETO inspected relief and rehabilitation centers in Tarn Taran, appreciating the administrative efforts.

– Ministers Kuldeep Dhaliwal and Mohinder Bhagat held meetings with the fire brigade, police, and disaster management teams in Amritsar, assessing emergency services.

– Ministers Lal Chand Kataruchak and Dr. Ravjot Singh monitored medical services and curfew protocols in rural areas of Gurdaspur.

Praising his ministers and the government’s efforts, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said,“Our ministers are not just conducting visits; they are standing alongside the public and addressing every challenge promptly. In our government, leaders do not go on the stage; they go into the field.”
