Sanjeev Dhanda responds to expulsion from BJP

Responding to his and his wife Mala Dhanda’s six-year expulsion from the BJP over alleged anti-party activities, Sanjeev Dhanda stated that the matter is being blown out of proportion.

In a statement, Dhanda clarified that he and his wife had invited Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora as it was a religious event (Satsang) of Guru Ji at Dandi Swani Mandir.

He said he and Sanjeev Arora are known to each other for over the years, adding that they both were classmate during schooltime. Therefore, he would not deny that they are friends. He further said that their families have had a true bonding over the period, adding, that Arora   has always helped him whenever he asked for it.

In a categorical tone, Dhanda said he unconditionally stand with Arora who is working hard for tremendous growth and development of Ludhiana after becoming an MP about three years ago. He said Arora now known as a ‘The development Man’ of Ludhiana has brought many projects besides completing others, including Halwara Airport, elevated road project, NHAI projects, railway station and many more.
Dhanda said politics is a separate thing and it cannot be mixed with friendship. He said, “Moreover, I am giving unconditional support to Arora not only because of friendship but also for his hard working for development of the city.”

Adding, Dhanda said Arora is a person who is committed for serving the society, adding that everyone should have a friend like Arora. He said Arora is setting a new benchmark in the politics because he is working above politics, adding that he will always stand by him. He also added that due to this reason big wigs of the city are standing behind Arora like a rock.

Appreciating supportive nature of Arora, Dhanda said he was elected general secretary twice of the prestigious Sutlej Club, Ludhiana and he got elected only with full support of Arora. He categorically stated that he did not repent that he is supporting Arora. He said, “I’m extending my support in view of Arora’s vision for the city”.  He hoped that political scenario will ultimately get a massive change after thumping majority of Sanjeev Arora from Ludhiana (West) assembly seat. He said it’s been time that people were missing a politician like Arora who is well educated and understands pulse of every sector of the society.
