On the arrest of most-wanted terrorist Happy Passia in the US, who masterminded over a dozen grenade attacks in Punjab, senior spokesperson of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Neel Garg, said that this serves as a stinging reply to those attempting to defame Punjab and disturb its peace.
Neel Garg remarked that the terrorist Passia, whom the previous governments failed to locate, was not only tracked in detail under the AAP government but also successfully arrested. He said this arrest is a major achievement for the Punjab government and sends a stern message to disruptive elements seeking to destabilize the state’s law and order and peace.
Neel Garg also questioned Congress leader Partap Bajwa, asking if he still believes that Punjab Police “goes to sleep at 7 PM.” Garg said that the Punjab Police operates vigilantly 24×7, and today’s arrest stands as proof of their commitment.
He further stated that anyone who dares to challenge Punjab will face only one consequence – jail. He highlighted that, in the last one and a half months, the AAP government has taken action against thousands of criminals and smugglers, ensuring they are behind bars. Garg criticized leaders like Bajwa, stating that while they issue sensation statements, the AAP government and Punjab Police are delivering results on the ground.
