Former Health Minister of Punjab and Congress leader Balbir Singh Sidhu held a meeting with Congress leaders and workers in village Sambalki of Mohali constituency regarding the upcoming Zilla Parishad and Block Samiti elections. While addressing this meeting, he shared his views on many important issues regarding the upcoming Zila Parishad and Block Samiti elections. He said, “The Congress party will give a befitting reply to the Bhagwant Mann-led AAP government by defeating it in the Zila Parishad and Block Samiti elections.”
Describing the false policies of the Aam Aadmi Party government, Sidhu said, “The people of Punjab are ready to defeat the AAP by winning these Parishad and Samiti elections.”
Focusing on the development of Mohali, Sidhu said, “No new project has been launched in Mohali in the last three years, we have worked day and night to make Mohali a developed district and now this government is busy destroying it.” The former health minister, talking about the state’s health department, said, “The hospitals and dispensaries built by us in the state are now turning into ruins and the state government is not paying any attention to it.”
Taking a dig at the Bhagwant Mann-led AAP government, he said, “The people of Punjab are fed up with the current Bhagwant Mann government because the AAP government has failed miserably in fulfilling the claims and promises on which the Aam Aadmi Party had come to power with a large majority.” He added, “The people of Punjab are ready to teach AAP a lesson by defeating it in these Samiti elections.” Sidhu added, “The AAP government has done nothing in the last three years except printing false advertisements, making false promises and fooling the people.”
Sidhu added, “The Congress Party will give a befitting reply to the AAP’s bullying in the Zila Parishad and Block Samiti elections and will win with a majority.” Former Sarpanch Shri Om Prakash, former Sarpanch Shri Harbans Lal, former Sarpanch Monty and other Congress leaders were present in this meeting.
