Desh Bhagat University celebrates World Health Day with theme “Healthy Beginnings, Hopeful Futures”

The School of Nursing Desh Bhagat University marked World Health Day with an engaging and impactful event centered around the theme “Healthy Beginnings, Hopeful Futures.” The celebration highlighted the importance of early health practices in shaping a vibrant and promising future for individuals and communities.

The day featured a variety of interactive activities and competitions aimed at raising awareness about health and wellness. A standout moment was the Health Awareness Rally, which saw enthusiastic participation from students and faculty, taking the message of healthy living into the local community.

Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh and Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur graced the event as chief guests. In his keynote address, Dr. Zora Singh inspired attendees to embrace a proactive approach to health, underscoring the lifelong impact of early wellness choices.

The program’s success was a testament to the collective efforts of faculty members, including Prof. (Dr.) Lovesampuranjot Kaur, Principal of the School of Nursing, and Prof. (Dr.) Prabhjot Singh, Head of the Department of Community Health Nursing.
