The Haryana Education Department has issued a notification announcing a change in the school timings for all government schools across the state on Saturday, April 5, in view of the Durga Ashtami festival.
According to the official circular, on April 5, all government schools will operate from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM. These revised hours will be applicable to both teachers and students.
For double-shift schools, the first shift will function from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, while the second shift will continue as per the regular schedule without any changes.
The Education Department has instructed all school heads to communicate this update to their respective institutions and ensure strict compliance. The notification also states that no changes should be made to the revised timings at the individual school level.
