CGC Mohali hosts motivational session on women empowerment and Entrepreneurship Prerna 2025

Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) Mohali, Jhanjeri organized an awareness and motivational session dedicated to women empowerment and entrepreneurship.

The event was held under the patronage of VentureNest CGCTBI Association, in collaboration with the District Employment and Entrepreneurship Bureau (DBEE), SAS Nagar, Government of Punjab.

The event brought together visionaries, business leaders, and changemakers from diverse industries to discuss the significance of women in leadership roles. It featured keynote speeches, panel discussions, and women-led startup pitching sessions, fostering a platform for empowerment and innovation.

A major highlight was Movana receiving a ₹10 lakh seed grant from Lucret Ventures and Iqra Financial Services, further encouraging women entrepreneurs. During the session, eminent personalities from various fields shared their inspiring life experiences and success stories with the students.

The distinguished speakers included Sardarni Preet, Dr. Dapinder Kaur Bakshi, VJ Aman, RJ Geet, Major Harpreet Singh, and Surinder Ahluwalia, who offered valuable insights on empowerment, resilience, and success.

Welcoming the attendees, Arsh Dhaliwal, MD, CGC Mohali stated that Prerna 2025 stands as a beacon of empowerment, demonstrating that women entrepreneurs are not just participants but motivators shaping the future.
