Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) President Harjinder Singh Dhami has made it clear that he will not withdraw his resignation, putting an end to speculation.
His statement came after a meeting with Shri Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh.Dhami had tendered his resignation following a controversial social media post by Jathedar in support of Giani Harpreet Singh.
Dhami reiterated his commitment to his decision, stating that he remains dedicated to fulfilling his responsibilities but has no intention of reversing his resignation.
During his meeting with Jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh, several key issues concerning the SGPC and Sikh affairs were also discussed, though details of the conversation remain undisclosed.
