Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority (GLADA) on Tuesday demolished illegal encroachments on Missing Link-2 road.
Around 10.5-km missing-link road (Ferozepur road to Malerkotla road) is being built by GLADA and these illegal encroachments were causing hindrance.
GLADA Chief Administrator Harpreet Singh stated that the project is set to facilitate the commuters and will solve the traffic problems. He mentioned that in today’s drive, the GLADA officials carried out an anti-encroachment drive on the stretch. He added that the work till Malerkotla road is almost complete and railway will also accomplish bridge work there.
Meanwhile, In another action, GLADA also removed illegal encroachment on the HIG house in Dhandari Kalan and took over possession of the property.
