Youth Akali Dal President Sarabjeet Singh Jhinjer has strongly criticized Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and his government for completely abandoning Punjab’s governance while running to Delhi at the summons of their high command, Arvind Kejriwal. He stated that AAP’s misplaced priorities will be the reason for its complete decimation in the upcoming Punjab Vidhan Sabha elections also, just as they were in Delhi.
“At a time when multiple rocket launchers and bomb shells were recovered in Patiala, the entire Punjab government was busy sitting in Delhi, listening to the sermons of Arvind Kejriwal, who himself has just faced a humiliating defeat in Delhi elections. This is a clear sign of how AAP’s government is being remote-controlled from Delhi while Punjab’s law and order situation crumbles,” Jhinjer said.
Jhinjer lashed out at the Bhagwant Mann government’s failure to even hold basic Cabinet meetings, exposing AAP’s total neglect of Punjab’s real issues.
“On one side, Punjab is dealing with a severe breakdown in law and order, and on the other, the CM, his ministers, and MLAs are running to Delhi like obedient workers of Arvind Kejriwal. Who is running Punjab? Certainly not its elected government!”
He pointed out how the Punjab Cabinet meeting has been postponed multiple times—from February 6 to February 10, and now to February 13—making a mockery of governance.
“The Punjab Cabinet has not met in over four months. Last year, only five Cabinet meetings were held—March 9, August 14, August 29, September 5, and October 5. Every decision is delayed, every issue ignored, because Bhagwant Mann is too busy following Kejriwal’s orders instead of leading Punjab.”
Jhinjer slammed AAP for treating Punjab like a branch office of Delhi rather than an independent state.
“AAP has learned nothing from its massive defeat in Delhi. Instead of fixing their failures, they are still prioritizing their Delhi bosses over Punjab’s needs. The Mann government should have been in Punjab today, handling the alarming security situation, but instead, they were busy in Delhi taking orders.”
Jhinjer emphasized that Punjab needs a strong regional party like the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), which puts Punjab first, unlike AAP, which is controlled from Delhi.
“Punjab cannot afford a government that takes orders from outside the state. Only Shiromani Akali Dal has always stood for Punjab’s interests, ensuring strong governance and security. AAP has proven that they are not here for Punjab, but to serve their Delhi masters.”
He warned that AAP’s downfall in Punjab is imminent, as people will not tolerate this kind of misgovernance.
“Punjab will not be ruled by a party whose strings are pulled from Delhi. The people have realized AAP’s incompetence, and they will throw them out just as Delhi did. Shiromani Akali Dal has always fought for Punjab’s pride, and we will continue to do so.”
The Youth Akali Dal stands firm in exposing AAP’s failures and fighting for Punjab’s rightful governance, he concluded.
