Punjab Cabinet Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond will be the chief guest of Punjab Day function at IITF 2024

Chandigarh, November 27

Punjab Cabinet Minister for Tourism and Cultural Affairs and Investment Promotion, Tarunpreet Singh Sond will be the chief guest of ‘Punjab Day’ function to be held on 27th November 2024 during the ongoing India International Trade Fair (IITF) at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

Sond will visit the Punjab Pavilion where stalls by various departments and institutes including Markfed, Verka, PSIEC-Invest Punjab, Punjab Tourism, Punjab Agriculture University Ludhiana etc have been set up to showcase the state`s culture, heritage, industrial growth, agricultural innovations and handicraft as well as related products. The theme of this year is ‘Viksit Bharat @2047’.

Director Tourism and Cultural Affairs Department, Punjab Amrit Singh revealed that the officials deputed by various departments at the stalls have been informing visitors about the various progressive and pro-people initiatives of the state government led by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann.

She further informed that renowned Punjabi singer Lakhwinder Wadali will perform during the cultural leg of the Punjab Day function.
