Chandigarh: Contractor arrested in illegal basement digging case of Sector 33

Chandigarh, November 24

The Chandigarh police have arrested the contractor Sandeep Khullar against whom FIR lodged an illegal basement digging case of Sector 33.

Police had registered a case under FIR No. 181 U/S 290,125,324(4),324(5),3(5) BNS at Sector 34 Chandigarh Police Station on the complaint of Kiranjit Singh resident # 332, Sector 33/A Chandigarh for doing negligent work in relation to demolition, repair or construction of a building.

The complainant’s house witnessed a lot of the damage. Police said that this incident occurred due to negligence. After the case was registered, the contractor absconded.
