Health Dept fully prepared for dengue prevention and control, fogging underway: Haryana CM Saini

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini while replying to the calling attention motion brought in the Vidhan Sabha on Monday assured the House that the Health Department is fully prepared for the prevention and control of dengue in the state, and continuous fogging is being carried out throughout the state.

He further said that, in view of the changing weather, directions have been issued to speed up the fogging across the state. Nayab Singh Saini clarified that the government never and will not hide any data regarding this issue. The arrangements for controlling dengue are in place, and fogging is being carried out regularly every week.

Additionally, inspections are going on for the checking of stagnant water in flower pots, weather coolers etc. at homes, which could become a key reason for mosquito breeding, said the Chief Minister.He said that in view of the change in weather, fogging will be intensified and directions have been issued to expedite the process.

Furthermore, directions have been given to intensify fogging in every city, locality, and even in villages through panchayats, in order to eliminate the breeding of dengue mosquitoes, said the Chief Minister.He said that the Health Department is continually working to raise public awareness about dengue prevention.

He urged citizens to take care of their homes and ensure that water does not stagnate. Immediate cleaning of stagnant water should be ensured to prevent mosquito breeding, said Nayab Singh Saini.
