Jathedar Gurpartap Singh Wadala, rebel leader, and Shiromani Akali Dal reform movement convener, has welcomed the resignation tendered by Sukhbir Singh Badal as President, Shiromani Akal Dal (SAD).
Jathedar Gurpratap Singh Wadala, convenor of the reform movement, said that the Jhunda Committee formed after the assembly elections, which visited about 100 assembly constituencies and collected the suggestions of the workers, prepared a report and put the report with its recommendations before the party. So that we can get out of the current sectarian political crisis.
Along with this, Jathedar Wadala’s resignation of Sukhbir Singh Badal has been fulfilled under the campaign launched to save the Shiromani Akali Dal, the leading organization of Punjab. Along with this, Jathedar Wadala said that if the resignation happened today, the political situation will change in the coming days and a new policy would be drawn up with the supporters of the Panthak party and the Shiromani Akali Dal reform movement to churn on the new political conditions of Punjab. An important meeting will be called.
Jathedar Wadala appealed to the working committee to accept the resignation of Sukhbir Singh Badal with immediate effect. The party workers will not accept if any other political move is tried on the resignation.
