Development work worth Rs 45 crore will start soon: MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla

After the continuous efforts of MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla, roads will soon be developed in Guru Nagri with Rs 45 crore. Tenders have been passed for this and work will start in a few days. MP Aujla said that there will be no compromise with quality in the development works of the city. He himself will monitor these development works.

MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla, while giving information, said that the work of upgrading 7 roads under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana will be started soon. Out of this, two roads will be upgraded in Majitha constituency and five roads in Ajnala constituency.

MP Aujla, while giving information, said that he is constantly trying to implement development plans for the city. Work is going on many projects but many other projects are pending for which he is in touch with the central government and they will be passed soon.

MP Aujla said that among the projects passed at present, 6.05 km road from Link Road APK Road National Highway 15 to Talwandi Dasaunda Singh will be upgraded in Majitha constituency at a cost of 545.39 lakhs. In the same constituency, 8.94 km road from Talwandi to Hamza Road and then Majitha via Begewal will be upgraded at a cost of 984.67 lakhs.

In Ajnala constituency, 6.65 km road from Ajnala-Fatehgarh Churian Road to Focal Point Chameri via Ibrahimpur Hard Kalan will be built at a cost of 480.18 lakhs. 6.11 km road including Chogawan Road-Ponga Road via Government College Ajnala Nangal Vanjhawala, Talwandi Dadurai will be constructed at a cost of 569.57 lakhs. 5.86 km road from Ponga to Sarangdev via Raipur Kalan in Ajnala will be constructed at a cost of 493.30 lakhs, 7.38 km road from Chogawan to Ajnala Ponga via Chak Phul, Nangal Vanjhawala, Kamirpur, Chak will be completed at a cost of 754.5 lakhs and 10.246 km road from Ajnala Jagdev Khurd Road to Ponga Zafarkot Road via Gurudwara Gumchak will be completed at a cost of 656.97 lakhs.

MP Aujla said that these projects worth crores will be started and completed soon and facilities will be provided to the people. He said that he is fully committed to the development of the city for which he is working diligently. In the Lok Sabha, he raises every issue that is important for his Guru nagari and can benefit the people of Guru nagari. He said that after the start of these projects, he will personally monitor them. Negligence in the quality of road construction will not be tolerated. He himself will check it from time to time so that the public can get strong roads.
