1984 Sikh riots: Phoolka writes to PM Modi seeking formation of Truth Commission

Chandigarh, October 31

Senior Advocate HS Phooka has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi demanding the constitution of ‘Truth Commission’ to expose the conspiracy behind the 1984 Sikh pogrom.
In the letter, the Senior Advocate who has been fighting pro bono for the victims of the 1984 anti-Sikh riots has also demanded withdrawal for the highest civilian honor Bharat Ratna from former Prime Ministers Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi.
