VSSL honours para karate champion tarun sharma with Rs 2 lac for his dedication towards sports and winning Gold medal in USA Karate Championship and a additional job part time to teach karate to girls in Govt school khanna as shared by Mr Amit Dhawan Sr Manager CSR / Admn VSSL.

Avtar Singh Project Monitoring officer from ADC office ludhiana congratulated tarun sharam and gave him best wishes on behalf of District Admn and also wished him good luck for his new Assignment on job.

Tarun sharma thanked ADC Rural Development and his team who always helped him and guided him to right person and it was ADC office which had first time made him introduce to Vardhman special steals limited and since then all have been helping them.

Tarun sharma thanked Sachit Jain vice chairman of Vardhman steels ,and Amit Dhawan CSR Sr Manager VSSL who all came forward to support para karate champion taran sharma for karate sports promotion . Tarun sharma appreciated support of Sachit Jain, Soumya Jain, RK Rewari ED for their support for sports at time when children have gone all busy with digital devices and forgot games that are essential for our health well being.

Amit Dhawan Senior Manager Admn / Legal CSR of VSSL shared that vardhman under it’s CSR initiative to promote sports under project Khel protsahan has come forward to support tarun sharma to teach karate to girls in government school khanna and they would pay the entire salary of Rs 3 lacs for same and till now nearly 70 children taught by him have also brought gold silver medals at stage and national levels.. He also shared that VSSL has been supporting various rural games of Punjab and also games like lawn Tennis / Basket Ball also under such initiatives.
