Haryana Chief Minister, Nayab Singh, accorded administrative sanctions for 22 major projects costing Rs. 126 crore under the Rural Augmentation Programme.
These projects aim to significantly enhance infrastructure development and services across the districts of Hisar, Jind, Kaithal, and Sirsa.
Giving more information in this regard, an official spokesperson informed a proposal for ensuring raw water arrangement from the Balsamand Branch for the water supply scheme in village Sisai has been approved at an estimated cost of Rs. 14.25 crore in village Sisai, District Hisar.
This scheme will ensure sustainability of water source which aligns with the vision of Jal Jeevan Mission.
Apart from this, Laying and installation of Functional Household Tap Connections (FHTC) in various Dhanies at Narnaund and Hansi with project costs of Rs. 3.90 crore and Rs. 4.10 crore respectively has also been approved.
He informed that projects estimated at Rs. 46. 59 crore will benefit villages Bharukhera, Chormar Khera, Desu Jodha, Gadrana, Habuana, Jottanwali, Khatrawan, Mangiana, Masitan, Naurang, and Sukhchain of (Mandi Dabwali and Kalanwali) District Sirsa with enhanced water supply of 70 Liter Per Capita Per Day (LPCD). Projects costing Rs. 13.65 crore will cover villages Jhora Rohi, Gidranwali and Raguana (Kalanwali) of District Sirsa in the chronically drought affected districts to benefit the public with improved drinking water supply with 70 Liter Per Capita Per Day ( LPCD).
He further informed that Rs. 3.30 crore allocated for augmentation of drinking water supply in village Patti Dogran of District Kaithal with 55 Liter Per Capita Per Day ( LPCD). Projects worth Rs. 2.12 crore and Rs. 4.84 crore have been approved for villages Ashrafgarh and Sandil of District Jind respectively to ensure drinking water with 55 Liter Per Capita Per Day ( LPCD).
These initiatives underscore the commitment of the state government towards ensuring a robust and resilient rural infrastructure for improving the quality of life of the residents in these districts.
