Deputy Commissioner Jaspreet Singh shared this information while talking to the media after bowing down at Takht Shri Damdama Sahib. On this occasion, SSP Deepak Pareek and manager of Takht Shri Damdama Sahib (Talwandi Sabo) Bhai Ranjit Singh were especially present with him.

Earlier Deputy Commissioner Jaspreet Singh also held a review meeting with the officials regarding the advance preparations of Baisakhi Mela. On this occasion, necessary guidelines were also given to the officials of different departments to perform their assigned duties with full diligence and responsibility.

The Deputy Commissioner also said that drones and CCTV cameras will be used to monitor all kinds of activities in the fair. Meanwhile, he said that a control room has also been set up for the convenience of devotees, if any devotee faces any problem, they can contact 01655-220241, 01655-220249.

SSP Deepak Pareek said that the police have made all necessary arrangements to facilitate the traffic in the fair.

On this occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Latif Ahmed, Secretary RTA Madam Poonam Singh, Sub Divisional Magistrate Talwandi Sabo Harjinder Singh Jassal, other officials of various departments and their representatives were also present.
