Deputy Commissioner Jaspreet Singh said that Baisakhi fair will be celebrated at Takht Sri Damdama Sahib like every year with full devotion and love. On this occasion, he instructed the officials of NDRF and said that they should make it mandatory to organize diving teams at suitable places.

Apart from this, he asked the officials of PRTC Bathinda Depot that apart from arranging special bus routes for the people coming to the fair, they should also make sure to build temporary bus stands so that the people coming to the fair would not have any trouble do not face such trouble

The Deputy Commissioner instructed the officials of the health department and said that special arrangements should be made for medical teams during the fair. Apart from this, he instructed the concerned officials to ensure that apart from clean drinking water for the general public during the fair, temporary RG toilets are constructed at different places for the pilgrims.

On this occasion, SSP Deepak Pareek, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Latif Ahmed, Secretary RTA Poonam Singh, Sub Divisional Magistrate Talwandi Sabo. Apart from Harjinder Singh Jassal, officers of various departments and their representatives were also present.
