Acting on orders of a Gurugram court police has booked Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner and YouTuber Elvish Yadav and famous Haryanvi singer Rahul Yadav alias Fazilpuria for illegal use of snakes in a music video titled ’32 bore’.

The police has registered a case under sections 294 of the IPC and Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960.

The action came on a petition filed by ‘People for Animals’ official Saurabh Gupta alleging that Yadav, Fazilpuria and 50 other people were seen using various snakes in a video which included ‘prohibited’ rare snakes.

The complaint alleged that both Yadav and Fazilpuria had not obtained permission from the Animal Welfare Board, the district administration, or the Forest Department to shoot the videos.

The court while passing the orders on Thursday for registration of the FIR also observed that the complaint against Yadav can only be ascertained by way of a fair, proper, thorough and impartial probe by police, “which shall not only save the valuable time of the Court, but also be instrumental in separating the chaff from the grains”.

Gupta has also alleged that Elvish Yadav and Fazilpuria also indulged in obscene acts at a public place (Mall) where the video of the song was filmed in full public view. Gurugram police said that they have initiated investigations as per court order.

Further investigations in this case will be conducted by the SHO of the Badshahpur police station. It may be noted Yadav was earlier this month arrested by the Noida police for alleged active involvement in supply of snake venom for a rave party. He was eventually granted bail by a UP court in the matter.
