ECI orders transfer of IPS officer Rajesh Duggal

Chandigarh, March 29

IPS officer Rajesh Duggal, Joint Commissioner of Police Gurugram, who was recently promoted to DIG rank has been transferred to DIG, Police headquarters, Panchkula.

The transfer has been initiated on the orders of the Election Commission of India (ECI).

As per ECI order, the Haryana home department has been directed not to assign any election-related work till the operation of the current Lok Sabha elections. Notably, IPS officer Rajesh Dugga is the husband of BJP MP Sunita Duggal.
