Ranjit Chautala resigns as Haryana MLA after getting BJP ticket from Hisar

Chandigarh, March 27

Haryana minister Ranjit Singh Chautala, who has been named by the BJP as its candidate from Hisar Lok Sabha seat after he joined the party, has resigned as an Independent MLA in the state assembly. BJP which has fielded him from the Hisar seat in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

Chautala will however continue as a state power minister.
