2017 batch IPS officer Dr. Pragya Jain took charge as SSP of Fazilka today. On this occasion, she was given a guard of honour by the police force. On this occasion, she said that her foremost aim would be to crack down on anti-social elements, especially crimes against women and children.
She said that anti-social elements including gangsters and people involved in drug trade will not be spared and such anti-social elements will be subject to strict action as per law.
She said that Lok Sabha elections will be conducted in a fair and peaceful manner. She said that according to the instructions of the Election Commission, such an environment will be created in the district where people can vote without any fear.
Dr Pragya Jain has also served as DCP City Amritsar, ADCP Zone One Three Ludhiana, ADCP Zone Two Jalandhar, SPD Khanna and ASP Mahal Kalan and during these deployments she earned good name with her hard work. She has also received the DGP Commendation Disc many times and is known for taking many new initiatives in the department.
