Raja Warring articulated, “The plight of Sidhu Moosewala’s humble family, Balkaur Singh Sidhu Ji and Mata Charan Kaur Ji, is deeply disconcerting amidst the unwarranted distress and pressure imposed upon them by the Punjab government and its administrative apparatus. This family has endured considerable hardships. , and upon finally experiencing a semblance of joy with the arrival of their newborn, the government’s intervention threatens to disrupt their newfound happiness.”

Expressing dismay, he continued, “The birth of their son was a moment of collective jubilation, resonating beyond the confines of Punjab or India. However, it is regrettable to witness governmental attempts to mar this joyous occasion. Balkaur Singh Ji, a man of principled conduct and a former serviceman, undoubtedly adhered to all protocols governing the IVF procedure. It is unfair that this honest man is vilified merely for advocating against governmental inadequacies, criticizing the BJP, or seeking justice for his son.”

Highlighting Sidhu Moosewala’s significance to Punjab, Warring emphasized, “Sidhu Moosewala epitomized Punjab’s pride, fearlessly championing pertinent issues and projecting the state’s ethos globally. His outspokenness, whether addressing concerns regarding the SYL canal or other pertinent matters, unsettled certain quarters, notably the Punjab administration.”

Further underscoring the family’s resilience, the PPCC Chief remarked, “Mata Charan Kaur Ji serves as an inspiration for us all. The birth of the child rejuvenated the spirits of the family after enduring the agony of Shubhdeep’s demise. It is utterly reprehensible for the Punjab. government to demand IVF certifications at this juncture. Is it conscientious to subject them to such scrutiny during this period? Why can’t the government wait?”

Criticizing the Aam Aadmi Party administration, Warring remarked, “Your intolerance towards individuals decrying gangsterism and governmental inefficiencies is palpable. Exploiting this situation to coerce an upright individual like Balkaur Singh Ji is deplorable. However, I assure you, such tactics will not deter him. , and we shall vehemently oppose any attempts to subjugate him. The people of Punjab stand in solidarity with the family. Exercise prudence, allow them respite, and defer bureaucratic formalities for the time being. It is essential that they are allowed to relish this fleeting moment of joy.”

Warring additionally articulated, “The actions undertaken by the central government consistently demonstrate its adversarial stance towards Punjab and its populace. Home Minister Amit Shah met with the family in June 2022, offering assurances of justice, yet regrettably, no tangible progress has materialized since. This instance represents yet another instance of unfulfilled promises from the Central government. Also, even if the letter for an inquiry was sent by the Union Government, why did Bhagwant Mann’s administration continue with the proceedings knowing fairly well that this was not the right time? ”
