Region of Peel /Bramton (Ontario, Canada) February 8
The Peel Regional Police Extortion Investigative Task Force (EITF), with the support of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), executed a search warrant resulting in the arrest of four individuals concerning recent incidents that occurred throughout the Greater Toronto Area since December 2023. These incidents included mischief to property, threats, and firearms-related offences.
Anmoldeep Singh, a 23-year-old man from Mississauga, was charged with the following:
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Unauthorized Possession of Prohibited or Restricted Weapon
- Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
- Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
- Fraud over $5000
Gagan Ajit Singh and Anmoldeep Singh were held for bail hearings and attended the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
Hashmeet Kaur, a 25-year-old female from Brampton, was charged with the following;
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Unauthorized Possession of Prohibited or Restricted Weapon
- Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
- Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
