Appeals people to take requisite citizen services at doorsteps

Deputy Commissioner Amit Kumar Panchal on Tuesday inspected the Lok Sewa Camps under ‘Sarkar Aap Ke Dwar’ programme, where he also interacted with the applicants getting citizen services.

While visiting villages Talwandi Kuka, Raawan in Bholath sub division and Kanjali in Kapurthala, Deputy Commissioner said that as many as 18 camps were held in the district where people got required services of different departments on the spot. He also urged the people to take benefit of these camps as officials of different departments were providing services within a minimal time.

At Kanjali, Deputy Commissioner also interacted with the aged applicants and got them promptly provided the service. Pertinently, at camp sites officials will provide services pertaining to Revenue department, Sewa Kendras, Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities, Social Security and Development of Women and Children, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Health, Water Supply and Sanitation, PSPCL, Rural Development and Panchayats, Food Supply Labour, Police and others will participate to resolve grievances within given time.
Deputy Commissioner said that on Wednesday the camps would be organised at Dogranwala & Alaudipur villages of Kapurthala sub divisions in morning shift and Nawan Pind & Nawan Pind Bhatthe in afternoon shift. Similarly, camps will be organised in villages Burewal, Nathupur& Amritpur and Amritpur Rajewal in Sultanpur Lodhi’s rural area while two joint camps for different localities would be held in urban areas. In Phagwara, the camps are to be held at Mayeopatti, Pashntaa and Narur & Nasirabad. SDMs Sanjeev Sharma and Amanpreet Singh besides other officials were also present on the occasion.
