Big relief to NRIs, now they don’t have to come to Punjab for sale of property

Chandigarh, February 3

In a view to provide relief to the NRIs from the illegal possession or wrongful sale of their properties, the Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab government has announced a big relief.

Now any person who wants to to sell or buy property while sitting abroad, needs to prepare and send a power of attorney from the High Commission of that country which will give the right to sell his/her property to his family member, relative, or any other person.
