Haryana Development and Panchayats Minister, Devender Singh Babli launched the Mission ‘Mera Gaon Meri Gali – Main Bhi Sanwaru’ in Bosti village of Tohana. He also encouraged the people to keep their villages and surroundings clean and to raise awareness about cleanliness.
Babli stated that it is the duty of every citizen to keep the society clean. He encouraged people to make a pledge to have proper toilet facilities at home so that the practice of open defecation can be completely eliminated.
Babli urged all social institutions and organizations to unite, involving every segment of society, to ensure the success of the ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’.
He also highlighted the importance of a clean mind and clean surroundings to live a healthy and prosperous life.
Devender Singh Babli also laid the foundation stone for two rooms to be built at a cost of Rs.19 lakh under the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan at the Government Model Sanskriti Primary School of village Saniana.
He also inaugurated the meeting hall and shed built at a cost of Rs.49.30 lakh in the girls school under the HGVY scheme.
Addressing the villagers, Babli said that his primary goal is to develop the area with all of their cooperation. He mentioned that welfare of the people is top priority of the government.
