Haryana Government has decided to implement 9 new projects worth more than Rs. 38.03 crore under Rural Augmentation Water Supply Programme in 3 districts namely Sirsa, Kaithal and Hisar.
Chief Minister, Manohar Lal Khattar today accorded administrative approval for these projects to be implemented by the Public Health Engineering Department here today.
Giving more information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that new works under Rural Augmentation Water Supply Programme include Laying of D.I. Pipe line in place of old PVC/ AC pipes along with the repair of structures of water supply scheme in village Kuleri, Hisar at a cost of Rs. 7.21 crore, Laying of Raw Water Carrier and Construction of intake Structures near Canal for water works in village Jamal, Sirsa at an estimated cost of Rs. 6.29 crore, Canal Based Water Works at Village Ahmadpur, Sirsa at an estimated cost of Rs. 4.37 crore.
Furthermore, Laying of D.I. Pipe Inlet Channel from Canal to Water Works in Village Rupana Bishnoian, Distt. Sirsa at an estimated cost of Rs. 2.40 crore, Improvement of water supply scheme in village Raipur, Dhani Raipur and Sikarpur, Distt. Hisar at an estimated cost of Rs. 2.65 crore, Improvement of Distribution System, Replacement of Old AC/PVC Existing Pipe Lines and Rectification of Damaged Water Connections in Village Kharodi Tehsil Guhla, District Kaithal at an estimated cost of Rs. 3.92 crore, Renovation of Civil Structures, Improvement of Distribution System, Replacement of Old AC/PVC Exiting Water Supply Pipe Lines and Rectification of Old Damaged Water Connections in Village Ramgarh Pandwa, Tehsil Kalayat, District Kaithal at an estimated cost of Rs. 3.04 crore, Construction of Boosting Station in Village Liwalwali, Distt. Sirsa at an estimated cost of Rs. 2.11 crore.
