Haryana Health and Family Welfare Minister Anil Vij stated that our aim is to provide state-of-the-art healthcare facilities in all hospitals, with plans to renovate 162 dilapidated Primary Health Centres (PHCs) and Community Health Centres (CHCs) in the state.
Tenders for these renovations have already been issued, and work has commenced at some locations.
Vij disclosed that administrative approval has been granted for 134 sub-health centers, 2 primary health centers, one community health center, and 37 public health centers.
Responding to a question during the winter session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha here today, Vij said that a proposal is under consideration to establish a cath lab and MRI services in Mukund Lal Civil Hospital, in Yamunanagar under Public-Private Partnership (PPP) mode.
However, there is currently no proposal to establish or provide radiotherapy services in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Sh. Vij said that approximately six months are needed to finalize the tender process for Cath Lab and MRI services.
The Health Minister further said that cath lab services are operational in four districts (Ambala, Faridabad, Gurugram, and Panchkula) under PPP mode, with tenders issued for three additional districts (Sonipat, Bahadurgarh in Jhajjar, and Yamunanagar). Cath lab services are expected to commence after finalizing the tender process.
He said that MRI services under PPP mode are already available in five districts (Ambala, Bhiwani, Faridabad, Gurugram, and Panchkula), with tenders issued for five more districts (Kurukshetra, Panipat, Bahadurgarh in Jhajjar, Palwal, and Charkhi Dadri).
