Haryana Development and Panchayats Minister Devender Singh Babli said that the government has implemented various schemes at the grassroots level for the comprehensive development of villages, benefiting the citizens.
On Tuesday, the Cabinet Minister inaugurated 40 projects costing Rs. 6 crore in villages Buana, Bosti, Dhani Bhojraj, Dhani Sanchla, Bhattu, Dhani Dult, Dult, Jandli Kalan, and Khurd, Chandrawal, Nadhori, Ghotru, Dholu, Tibbi, and Rahnkheri in Tohana.
Devender Singh Babli, while addressing representatives and villagers, said that under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Manohar Lal, the Haryana government is committed to the development of villages.
Alleviating the concerns of rural residents is the government’s top priority. He emphasized that by prioritizing essential tasks in villages, gradual and sustained development can be achieved.
He stated that the ongoing development journey in the rural areas of the state will further strengthen the foundation of Haryana’s progress.
The Minister highlighted that community centres are being established in villages, following the model of cities. The Development and Panchayats Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to providing urban-like facilities to residents in rural areas.
Devender Babli stated that various unique programs have been initiated, extending development initiatives beyond the limits of streets and drains in villages. These include projects such as Amrit Sarovar, greywater management, e-library, indoor and outdoor gyms, construction of community centres, CCTV cameras, modern streetlights, modern parks, as well as door-to-door garbage collection and women’s cultural centres.
